Shishe Nashkan Industry. (S.N.I.) was established in 1975 and has been known as one of the most
important leading manufacturers of safety glass in Iran.

S.N.I is one of the independent companies of SAIPA, affiliated to Iran Developing & Renewative Organization(IDRO), manufacturing automotive and architectural safety glass in a wide variety of Laminated windscreens, tempered sidelights and back lights for cars, buses and trucks, double glazed units, bulletproof glass as well as glass for domestic equipment.
Screen-printed tempered and laminated glass can also be provided upon request.
High quality productions of S.N.I meet international safety glass standards, keeping the right of using the sign of Iran's Standard Institution.(ISIRI). S.N.I is the first safety glass manufacturing company in Iran who has received ISO 9002 R.V.1994 certification from DNV Co.

S.N.I will go on improving the quality of his products. Skillful personals in the production line,
familiar to working with modern equipment, find engineering and R&D supports through Engineering & Design department as well as Technology & research department. Each production step is severely controlled by QA department and the final products are passed through various standard tests in QC laboratory ensuring the safety aspects for the customers. Utilization of CNC cutting machine,has enabled the company to have products with high dimensional accuracy. Edge grinding of the glass is done via belt or diamond grinders. By using of improved vacuum de-airing system and autoclave, the quality and durability of the laminated
windscreens could be guaranteed. S. N. I. is equipped with various horizontal and vertical tempering systems for tempering flat and bent glass, as well as windscreen bending furnaces. This has enabled S. N. I. to play a major role in production and supplying of various automotive glasses for local automotive industries and local market, as well as exports.
In order to meet the requirements of automotive industries to the glasses with less than 4- mm thickness, S. N. I. has programmed to be equipped with various modern equipment for bending & tempering, windscreen bending, and preprocessing systems.

Depending on its long-term experience and engineering supports, S.N.I. has also the capability of designing and fabricating of many safety glass machineries.

Continuous quality improvement is the most important point to S.N.I. The products are manufactured considering safety glass Standards. The quality control laboratory is consist of many Q.C. equipment for testing tempered and laminated glass such as fragmentation, ball drop, resistant to high temperature, light transmission, double image and identification of colours in accordance with ISIRI 709-2 standards.
