Quality Control


  The quality and hygienic condition of seafood, specially Caviar in all stages of fishing to final packaging for export, is precisely controlled by many laboratories of the Iranian Fisheries Company in the coastal provinces as well as in Tehran.
  These fully equipped laboratories are run under supervision of specialists and experts of the Iranian Fisheries Company.

 

PACKAGING & SHILAT'S GUARANTEE FOR THE EXPORT OF THE IRANIAN CAVIAR:  
  To prevent any misuse of the Iranian Caviar's title in the international markets, each can of Caviar is placed in a piece of net which has been sealed on both sides with consecutive digits.  
Then every three cans are placed in a linen bag which enjoys seal of excellence. Eventually Every four bags are placed inside a sealed wooden box. These exclusive seals have been registered at the international level and come in three colors including Blue, Yellow and Red which represent respectively Beluga, Asetra and Sevruga Caviars. And this is how you can be certain Iranian Caviar is genuine.  
  Grades 1 & 2 of Caviar are packed in 1800 gram containers; under suitable conditions they can be stored for a year.   For domestic use, foreign tourists, or those traveling abroad, 30, 50, 100, 200 and 300 gram metal tins and glass jars are available.  
  Furthermore, the pressed caviar is packed and exported in 30-50 kilogram barrels.  
Transportation of caviar is of great importance. When transporting this substance, extreme care and caution must be observed. Caviar is delivered by airplane and under controlled temperature.
