A Brief Introduction

Iran Electronics Industries (IEI) was established in 1972. With six subsidiariesand 5000 experienced personnel including 700 qualified and highly trained engineer in different disciplines, IEI has developed a high potential in research and development (R&D) which is the technological backbone of the company.
IEI is an amalgamation of different manufacturing plants and companies in different parts of the country and has 25 year of experience in Electronics, Optics, Electro-Oprics, Communications, Computer and Semiconductors.

The Iran Communication Industries (ICI) with more than 2000 skilled personnel (12% of whom are engineers), modern facilities, and a lustrous background of successful experience, is the country's leading manufacturer of military communication equipment and systems.With more than 75 products in the field of tactical communication and encryption systems it meets a wide range of the army's requirements, while its forceful R & D center boosts the industry with "custom-made" projects as well as a stream of new products. ICI was awarded 6 prizes at the Kharazmi scientific festival and has obtained international and local registered patents for its technological innovations.

ISFAHAN OPTICS INDUSTRIES (IOI)
(a subsidiary of IEI)

Isfahan Optics Industry (IOI) was founded in 1987 with the aim of setting up a vigorous and modern optics industry. The employment of expert engineers and state-of-the-art equipment has made the IOI one of the most capable industries of its kind in the country.
The design and manufacture of complex lenses and prisms, multilayer coatings and a wide range of daylight sights (binoculars, periscopes, collimators, etc) are carried out at IOI Sophisticated quality control facilities such as MTF test, veiling glare test, measurement of optical parameters and the determination of blank characteristics, are key points for the world class production of optical equipment and elements in IOI.

Electronics, Communications, Microprocessor, Microelectronics, Optics and Electrooptics are the titles of research groups in the IERC.
