Metallurgy PRODUCTION GROUP

This group includes Engineering, Commercial, Quality Control and Financial departments and three main workshops:

1) Foundry      2) Forging       3) Steel Ball Manufacturing

1. Foundry:
Having a 12-ton electric arc furnace, induction furnaces, vacuum oxygen decarbonization converter (VODC) plant and gas blowing operation in ladle, the workshop is capable of producing various types of carbon steel, low/high alloy and stainless steel. Checking the chemical composition of these products is carried out by accurate measuring equipment (quantometer etc.).

The examples are as follows:

UIC: Al, B2 -ASIM: A 105, A 216, A 350, A 694, A182,....) DIN (56 NiCrMoV6, X40CrMoV51, 42CrMo4, 13 CrMo44, 32 NiCrMoV145, X210Cr12, Ck45,....)

Furthermore, plug and gate valves, various types of steel rollers, heavy foundry parts up to 8 tons, ingots with different sections up to 10 tons, and moulds for ingot casting can be named as other main products of this workshop.

2. Forging:

Production capacity: up to 40,000 tons per year. Standards: DIN, UIC, ASME, API and other international standards. Different kinds of ingot with different sections made in the foundry workshop are forged in here. By applying different kinds of hammers and hydraulic & mechanical presses the workshop is capable of producing forging up to 120 kgs by closed-die and up to 8 tons by open-die forging.

Shafts, rollers, rings, and railway tires are other examples of products made in this workshop. By having a 1000-ton hydraulic press at our disposal we are able to form steel plates up to 50mm thickness and 10 tons of weight used for different types of vessel dish ends and spherical tank segments.

Among the various products of the workshop, the following can be mentioned:
1- Wagon axles based on UIC standard,
2- Rollers for continuous casting stations and steel rolling plants up to 8 tons.

Different kinds of steel sections up to 8 tons.
Spherical tank segments and pressure vessel dish ends with different sizes & weights.
Steel rings up to 2500 mm. dia. and 1.5 tons of weight
Various parts used in automobile industry, railway rings & tires.
Various types of pressure flanges used in oil & gas industries based on API, ANSI, and other internationally recognized standards.

3- Steel Ball Manufacturing workshop

Having 30,000 tons of production per year, this workshop is capable of producing various kinds of steel ball (20-100 mm dia) by forging method with two roll-forging machines and heat treatment furnaces. Hardness up to 63 HRC (According to the customer requirement).
