Screw chiller

Consists of U-shaped tub with a horizontal screw. The screw revolves in the tub transporting the birds through the unit. Chilled water and birds flow in opposite directions. Birds are washed and chilled in approximately 30 minutes. The chiller is also fitted with an air line system, air is blown into the cooling water at a low pressure to produce turbulence, preventing the birds from sticking to each other. Available in different size based on three meter sections.
