Heated means of a steam injection system. A propeller system keeps the water flowing downwards along the entire length of the tank. This ensures that the birds are kept fully immersed. The vapor hood reduces both odor and noise pollution. The scalder is positioned before the plucker to allow the plucker to easily remove the feathers.
