PUBLIC JOINT STOCK COMPANY ALIAF COMPANY being the first producer of synthetic fibers (Nylon 6 Yarn) in Iran was established in 1996.
ALIAF started the activity with collaboration of Iranian private sector and allied chemical company of U.S.A.

Machinery renewal
Recently Aliaf factory has been upgrading its machinery and production lines to refashion and increase its products. For this purpose, the first phase of polymer production line has been reconstructed and commissioned, utilizing the latest technology.
At present the first phase of our factory has been totally reconstructed and renewed as its technology and machinery were outdated.

The projects

One of our suggested plans which is approved by ministry of industries is upgrading the dryers. By implementing this plan, not only the machinery will be improved but also the production capacity will rise from 12,000 tons to 15,000 tons a year.

Another important project undertaken by Aliaf Co. is manufacturing nylon 6.6 yarn used as the basic material for tyre cord. The implementation project will be started soon and considering the estimated 24 months needed for completion, the project will be put into operation with an annual capacity of 10,000 tons.

Quality control

During each step of manufacturing procedure, our well-equipped laboratories of physics and chemistry supervise the activities to make sure that the relevant standards are being observed. At every stage of production samples are sent to sophisticated laboratories for quality control and eventually for grading the product before it is released for packaging and sale.

Aliaf Co. is also the main producer of fish net twine from 6 ply up to 75 ply as well as nylon chips (granulate) in Iran. Aliaf plant is now operating in three working shifts producing 12,000 tons of nylon 6 yarn annually in according with the international standards.
